How to use Privacy & display preferences
Read exposed privacy preferences, reduced motion, contrast, forced colors and the preferred color scheme. The check runs when you submit the form. Its inputs are processed in this browser.
How the check works
The tool reads Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track when present, then evaluates preference media queries. It does not change browser settings.
The Overview tab explains the findings. Measured data lets you search individual fields and values, while JSON report shows the complete export. Export JSON to retain a baseline, or print the findings for your own records. Review the report before sharing it: browser characteristics, token claims, and file names can reveal information about your setup.
Read the result in context
Preference values tell a page how the user agent asks it to behave. A website must implement the appropriate response; detecting the preference does not prove compliance.
Understand the limits
A missing signal may mean unsupported, unset or deliberately hidden. These signals are not an overall privacy or accessibility score.
